Other options for Congregation Outings or visits to other parts of Britain
1. Day tour of Cotswolds (this can be extended to include parts of our London weekends or other places). A day trip to include 'Englands prettiest village' (according to William Morris) and Stratford on Avon, with a tour through the classy Cotswolds, including top-notch lunch in a manor house. Groups of 12 - 16 people using mini-coach, or up to 53 with full size coach.
2. 'Arts & Crafts/ William Morris/ Pre-Raphaelite' places (this can include William Morris Gallery, Wightwick Manor, V&A Museum, National Gallery, Port Sunlight, Birmingham Art Gallery, Kelmscott Manor.) If you've ever wondered what 'doing things the natural way' would look like; this is truly inspirational!
3. The Lake District (either an 'interest-only' tour of highlights with quaint bar meal, Sheepskin Centre, overnight stop in hotel, coach tour and short walk and many other options): OR sailing on Derwentwater with sailing dinghies, small cabin cruisers or canoes (or mixture of all 3, with or without professional instruction) using the island in centre of lake for camping, barbecues, etc. (with or without hotel).
4. 'Stately Home' shared weekends in classic houses anywhere in UK. Usually smaller groups (10+) with professional catering, shared transport, optional swimming, various pastimes. Or the same using a 4-star hotel and nearby attractions (Windsor Castle, Hampton Court, Legoland, etc
5. Heligan (or other famous gardens; Kew Gardens, etc)
6. Free time in London city centre - we can use a 4-star city centre hotel on a B&B basis only, from about £150 to include most of the usual features of our typical 3-day weekends plus free time in the evenings for shows, etc. This may not be available for some busy weekends.
7. Tours for foreign visitors - we can arrange a bespoke tour for any length of time, for any part of the UK, for any size group. We normally use a Heathrow hotel, a 5-seater or a 12-seat mini-coach (or 49-seater), and 2 JW trained guides, to a high standard. We can also arrange links with and tours of Paris, France.
