Typical 3-day London Bethel Trip

Note that our guides arrange the COACH and HOTEL and all the GUIDING all the way (usually) from your door... no stress!

Saturday: Up to 3 local pick-ups from your area. Stops on the way at Service Area, currently with our money-off vouchers for food deals; there are usually facilities for drinks and emergency toilet on the coach. Bring a packed lunch if you wish, for the journey.

The day includes British Museum or British Library faith-building Bible Tour (choice of up to 3 tours at same time between your group: maybe different tours to your last trip; there are now 16 tours to choose from, subject to availability). Free time in the museum and tour of London city with comprehensive sightseeing commentary. Inclusive Group photo in the Grand Court or on the front steps, with free large colour print posted to your local coordinator a few days after the trip.

Arrive at our 3 or 4 star Hotel, usually with heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi & gym and quiet lounge and beer garden facilities. Inclusive 4-Course Dinner. Guests from Bethel sometimes join us for dinner or drinks, as does our non-JW coach driver.

Sunday: Full English [Buffet] Breakfast in the hotel Dining Room, included in tour price.

Today includes a visit to Covent Garden (excellent live street entertainment, international arts & crafts market and fine shops), St James Park, Buckingham Palace, guided coach tour through centre of London city, with detailed commentary, River Thames Cruise with real Cockney commentary, free time at Natural History Museum, Science Museum, V&A and/or Harrods and other Knightsbridge shops.

A Watchtower Study summary is conducted on the coach, in addition to daily text & prayer each day.

Arrive Hotel. 4-Course Carvery/Hot Buffet Dinner included. Swimming & gym or leisure time in quiet hotel bar lounge is usually possible.

Monday: Full English [Buffet] Breakfast included as above.

London Bethel for tour of incredible new press and administration facility at IBSA House, with seated video shows and leisure time in literature room and garden.

Leave London 12.30pm. Arrive at starting point approx 7pm or so.

Who can come

Any publishers and their friends, from any congregation, including approved unbaptised persons.

Cancellation & Deposits

All places can be immediately secured with a deposit (£15 minimum), and must be fully paid for by at least 5 weeks prior to trip. Please phone me if an emergency arises; if we are able to re-allocate your seat, you will get a refund less any costs if applicable.

Insurance

The coach company and the venues will have cover for their liabilities, but do take out insurance if you wish. Please remember to guard all valuables at all times. Any complaints should be made to our guide in the first instance rather than direct to any other provider of services. Parents are reminded to strictly constrain the behaviour and noise of their party, especially while in the hotel and on the coach. Please keep noise on the coach to a minimum. Wheelchairs by advance request. Some detail or timing may alter if circumstances require it.

Cost

  • The trip typically costs around £170 per person (2012)
  • Up to 6 Regular Pioneers usually at only £99 subject to trip cost check with local coordinator.
  • Children using bed-settee (sharing with 2 adults in room) usually now only £43 for ages 2-12yrs, and £63 if 12-16 yrs.
  • Under 2yrs old, free (no seat on coach)
  • Single supplement usually £70
