3-day London Bethel Trip with optional free time, shopping and buffet function in the city riverbank suite. ('Type 2' trip)

Friday: Up to 3 local pick-ups. Stops on the way at Service Area; there are facilities for drinks and emergency toilet on the coach.

London Bethel for tour of incredible new press and administration facility at IBSA House, with seated video shows and leisure time in literature room. Please dress as for meeting. Group congregation photograph at Bethel.

Arrive at hotel 6pm or earlier. (Hotel usually has swimming & gym available). Pre-dinner drinks before inclusive 4-Course Dinner.

Saturday: Full English [Buffet] Breakfast in the hotel Dining Room, included in tour price. Today you could choose to have free time and meet the group at the evening function, or just stay with the group and get the best from this group opportunity. You may wish to book a matinee Show, or shop at Primark or Harrods or other places, visit the Zoo or Greenwich.

Free time at Natural History Museum and/or Science Museum and V&A, all in the same street, OR Harrods and other Knightsbridge shops. Sightseeing tour with commentary as we travel through the city. Inclusive faith-building Bible Tour in British Museum. (Choice of up to 3 tours at same time between your group: maybe different tours to your last trip). Group photo in the Grand Court or on the front steps, with free large colour print posted to local coordinator a few days after the trip.

Arrive at south bank classic function suite with panoramic Thames views for evening function with very high quality 3-course buffet (included to the value of £18 adult, £9 child; extras can be purchased on the evening if desired), London ale or other drink and time to walk along the romantic south bank afterwards.

Sunday: Full English [Buffet] Breakfast included as above. Visit to St James Park & Buckingham Palace and Covent Garden (excellent live street entertainment, international arts & crafts market and fine shops). Guided coach tour through centre of London city, with relevant commentary, River Thames Cruise with Cockney commentary.

A Watchtower Study summary is conducted on the coach, in addition to daily text & prayer each day.

Leave London 2.30pm. Arrive at starting point approx 7pm or so.

Who can come

Any publishers and their friends, from any congregation, including approved unbaptised persons.

Cancellation & Deposits

All places can be immediately secured with a deposit (£15 minimum), and must be fully paid for by at least 5 weeks prior to trip. Please phone me if an emergency arises; if we are able to re-allocate your seat, you will get a refund less any costs if applicable.

Insurance

The coach company and the venues will have cover for their liabilities, but do take out insurance if you wish. Please remember to guard all valuables at all times. Any complaints should be made to our guide in the first instance rather than direct to any other provider of services. Parents are reminded to strictly constrain the behaviour and noise of their party, especially while in the hotel and on the coach. Please keep noise on the coach to a minimum. Wheelchairs by advance request. Some detail or timing may alter if circumstances require it.

Cost

  • The trip typically costs around £190 per person (depending on starting point)
  • Up to 6 Regular Pioneers usually at only £99 subject to trip cost check with local coordinator.
  • Children using bed-settee (sharing with 2 adults in room) usually now only £50 for ages 2-12yrs, and £70 if 12-16 yrs.
  • Under 2yrs old, free (no seat on coach)
